The Bully Dog Triple Dog GT Platinum Diesel Power Programmer , Tuner and gauge cluster is a vehicle engine tuner, monitor, gauge and diagnostic device all in a single unit. The Bully Dog GT programmer dramatically improves the utility of several vehicle applications by providing an increase in horse power and torque and by improving fuel economy through better engine programing and tuning. The Bully Dog GT programmer monitors and displays over fifteen different vehicle parameters (PIDs) and it includes our all new Driving Coach feature which teaches programmer end users to maximize their vehicles performance and fuel economy potential.
Stock Tune: The Stock Tune features the factory HP level with the ability to use all the Triple Dog GT Platinum’s other amazing features.
Tow/Economy: +50HP & +100TQ. The Towing Tune is designed for users that will be towing heavy loads and need to add fuel economy, power and drivability for getting on the highway and going up hills. Towing capacity in this tune will remain the same as the vehicle’s factory rated capacity. While not towing the Economy Tune is designed to add 2-3 MPG to the stock vehicle while still increasing the HP and TQ to make your truck more drive-able. (Economy gains are subject to driving conditions and may vary).
Performance: +70HP & +125TQ. The Performance Tune adds substantial power down low and will also improve fuel economy with conservative driving. Your truck will feel much more lively and responsive while using this tune.
Extreme Tune: +80HP & +140TQ. The Extreme Tune is engineered to add extreme power and drive-ability! Users of this tune will see substantial gains in HP and TQ while still increasing fuel economy (if they can keep their foot out of the pedal while they’re enjoying the power). This tune is designed for use with a cold air intake system and diesel exhaust and should not be used for towing.
The Bully Dog GT power programmer performs vehicle diagnostics by reading and erasing diagnostic trouble codes; this level of vehicle probrammer transparency isn't offered by any OEM or by any other aftermarket power programmer product. Also included is our performance and power testing feature designed to test a vehicles performance capability on the drag strip; couple this power programmer with our free PC analysis software and users can also determine vehicle horse power. The Bully Dog GT programmer does it all and it works on most late model diesel pickups including Dodge, Ford and GM.
The Bully Dog GT programmer also provides realtime feedback to help users improve their power and fuel economy by using a patent pending Driving Coach feature designed by our top power programmer engineers. The Performance testing available on GT will accurately calculate and record a vehicles 1/4 mile times and everything in between. The performance testing allows the user the ability to trigger a performance test based upon when the vehicle begins rolling or based on a custom designed drag racing tree that is displayed on screen. Read and Erase Trouble Codes
With the vehicles of today, check engine lights will appear for numerous reasons. Usually you drive around for a month or so, neglecting the light until you can get time to visit a dealership to get it looked at. Well that is no longer an issue because with the GT you can run your own diagnostics check to find out what that check engine light means and then you can erase them yourself.
Safety Warnings and Diesel Defueling
The GT Tuner has the ability to monitor the vehicle parameters listed below (as avialable per vehicle application) and provide visual and audible warnings if those parameters go beyond a level that has been set by you. The diesel tuners can also initiate defueling at these warning levels. This feature adds an extra measure of safety into your vehicle.

Speedometer Calibration (GTs only)
The Calibrate Speedometer feature is also available for many vehicles. This feature is useful to correct the OEM speedometer which is reading inaccurately when an aftermarket tire size has been installed on a vehicle.
